An Egyptian court has sentenced 683 people to death, including Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Badie. Escalating a crackdown on the movement that could trigger protests and political violence ahead of an election next month.Hundreds of Brotherhood supporters and members of the security forces have been killed in political violence since Morsi's ouster by authorities. 529 Muslim Brotherhood supporters were also sentenced to death in a similar case last month.
