The meeting of legislation parliament has adjourned till 3 pm Thursday following the mawoist law maker continuous obstruction at the house over the arrest on Adhikari murder case. At the very out set of meeting today the mawoist law maker disrupted the house protesting the government move to file a coart case against 13 mawoist in connection with Krishna Adhikari murded. Speaking at the opening session at the parliament meting held at New Banaeshor accused government. The meeting was adjourned for 1 hour due to protest.

Their health condition is fast deteriorating, and it is time for the newly-elected Government of Nepal to take prompt, effective and credible measures to safeguard the lives of Mrs. and Mr. Adhikari and to ensure justice. Likewise, we seek the attention of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and all relevant UN agencies engaged in Nepal to pay attention to this case, in relation to the demands for justice as well as the health of the fasting couple.
